SunCommon’s Email and Content Manager drives engagement with our network through email and website content. The core work of this position is matching the right audience with the right message at the right time.
This position sits within our digital marketing team; however, the Email and Content Manager is solely responsible for taking email campaigns from creative concept through content production to execution. In addition, the Manager attracts new customers through search engine optimized landing pages and posts, creating content that meets people where they are at.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Responsible for Email Program management, innovation and optimization.
- Writes compelling and effective email, web page, and blog content.
- Implements and manages one-off and automated email communications.
- Tracks our email audience, and regularly manages lists.
- Analyzes channel effectiveness, working constantly to improve process and strengthen content.
- Coordination with sales, installation, and customer service teams to improve customer communication along the full customer arc.
- Grows our website audience through expanded content, optimized for search.
- Coordination with field marketing team and colleagues in digital marketing to identify content opportunities.
- Program development. Staying up-to-date on trends in email communication, remarketing and SEO, while assessing long-term program trends.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- 2-4 years experience in digital marketing, content marketing, and/or communications work.
- Demonstrated leadership skills: the ability to own a program and drive results.
- Desire to learn and follow trends, test new practices, and innovate.
- Strong copywriting and message development skills
- Understanding of SEO and email marketing best practices
- Effective time management: self-organization and planning, ensuring balls aren’t dropped.
- Experience with marketing automation tools, experience implementing effective email campaigns
- Enthusiasm for metrics and analytics
- Ability to work in our open office environment, comfortable with the proximity of colleagues engaged in similar volumes of work
- Adept at meeting goals, deadlines and juggling lots of balls
- Demonstrated attention to detail
