ABOUT THIS POSITION
Traffic is where we make dreams become reality in the solar process for residential customers.
This team-oriented function requires great attention to detail and fearless follow through. The Traffic Assistant supports the work of the Traffic and Guide teams, who provide customers with joyful service after the sale and through installation and beyond. You’ll be working with both the Guide and Traffic teams as well as our partner installers to coordinate preparation for residential installations, and following up on the details to assure customer satisfaction. You’ll be working with the Guide team to complete and process paperwork such as the applications for permits and solar installation records. The position will also help keep company databases up-to-date so we can provide the best possible customer support.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

- Accurately coordinate details of multiple projects in a time-sensitive environment
- Conduct friendly and professional phone and email communications with our partners and our customers
- Prepare documents and track details for new customers, entering information in Customer Care system
- Review and process documents and photos to prepare installation instructions for installers and complete applications for permits and incentives
- Prepare installation records and warranty cards
- Focused attention to detail
- Enthusiastic about continual process improvement work environment
- Proficient in MSOffice and customer care system (we use Salesforce for CRM) or other database software
- Customer service experience or experience working with the public
